"It would be hard to exaggerate the sheer splendor of the Irish pianist’s technique." -- Bernard Jacobson, music critic for Chicago Daily News and www.musicweb-international.com
Barry Douglas continues to enjoy a major international solo career since 1986 when he was the first non-Russian to win the Gold Medal at the Tchaikovsky International Piano Competition since Van Cliburn. Playing the Strauss Burleske and Liszt's First Piano Concerto, Douglas offers us an evening of virtuoso piano performance at its finest.
